Yep, I've mooched more than one answer off of the good people here. Seems less like cheating than a walkthrough does.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome Misty

She sighed and tucked her head under my cheek, throwing an arm around me and going happily back to her precious sleep. I pulled the covers tighter around us and planted a light kiss on her forehead, wishing her sweet dreams while I caught a last look around my room, taking notice of our clothes lying discarded all over the place.A smug smile crept on my face as I went back to sleep, joining my divine beauty in her dreams.I wonder what she would say if I started a new religion?

Okay, I am finally finding time to post here. My name is Mike. Some of you will know me from other boards. I live in Southern Indiana, not too far north of Louisville, Kentucky. Originally from Los Angeles.

Hi Mike and welcome.

How did you choose your log-in name?
My first thought was of tornado's.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!

Oh, and welcome aboard!

Actually, it is the title of a song by Genesis (the good stuff, before Peter Gabriel left the band) off of the Foxtrot album.

And, you can call me what you want, but, I'll sign my name to my posts.

Thanks for the welcome,

Mike

Deja vu....seems like I've done this somewhere on here before...oh, well, again won't hurt, much.  [smiley=yawn.gif]

As you see my online designation is Homer6, dates back to a time when we had only one computer between my son and I.  I'm married to a very lovely woman, the brains of the house, and have been these past 32 years.  We have two grown offspring, a son and daughter, our daughter married.

My computer experience started with an Atari 800XL, then moved up to a 486DX, then to the Dell we currently have.

My game experience started with the Atari, store bought and those input from magazines--debugging became an art.
oom was the first game played on our 486, with Myst not to far behind, and I became very interested in that genre.  I lean mostly towards the Myst type games, but have tried a few others, NWN being the first of its type.  I can't say I'm an avid gamer because I don't "have to have" the next and latest game to hit the market, but I do enjoy playing when I need to get away from things, and when I'm in the mindset.

Welcome aboard, Homer6! Wow, only three computers in how many years? Ouch, that's a good reminder to me that maybe, just maybe, I don't absolutely need to upgrade every three years...

Well, let's see.  Atari came out with their computers in...um...some time back.  The 486 chip was out in...um...some time back and now it's 2005.  So our present 'puter is four years old.  And as to getting a new machine ever few years, well...gots to get permission from the boss.

Yeah, my wife had veto power too!
I managed to convince her based on the fact that our daughter's learning software kept crashing our old computer. In other words:

- Getting a new computer to let her husband play Myst IV: NO

- Getting a new computer to let her daughter learn: YES

Talk about your skewed priorities!

Hey, all I can say is that I have much better taste than she does. After all, look whom I married and look whom she married...

Been browsing around the site for a long time, but never had the time to get to the forum. Finally I found some time. Well..I am a 20 year old girl from Holland. Been playing Adventures for a long time now. Finished a lot also

Well...hope to see some good discussions around here. (But some are way to long..)

No we're not!

Welcome, Deam! I've found it best in the longer threads just to dive in about 2/3 through and pick it up from there. Usually at that point the discussion has wandered from the original point anyway.

Hey, I'll take a piece of that action. Didn't you women tell me to get in touch with my feminine side?

Welcome ShadowinmyRoom and Deam!

Pastor's right, just dive in on the discussions.  They often go off-topic anyway.

Deam, see that you're from Holland. You'll find yourself in good company, there are a good number of Dutchies here, either from Holland or Flanders.
