You passed the test.  You made me roar laughing.   [smiley=rofl.gif]   Welcome to the forum and may your god help keep you sane, because he surely hasn't done anything like that for us.

Incorrect. According to Caroline, you live in Nebraska. (0 marks)

What's your favourite colour?

Purple.

(0.5 marks - full marks only given for the inclusion of Pantone numbers)

What's your favourite food?

Ooh, a tough one! Hmm...it's down to dolmades, bubble & squeak, tom kha, or stuffed flounder. I can't narrow it down further than that.

How many roads must a man walk down?

The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind...

You should have held onto it more firmly. Next you'll be telling me the dog ate your homework. (0 marks)

Who put the bop in the bop-shu-bop-shu-bop?
Who put the ram in the ram-a-lang-a-ding-dong?

I dunno. Who was that man? I'd like to shake his hand.

What? After he's been handling bops and rams? How unhygienic! Besides he is wanted by several animal welfare organisations. (0 marks)

Why do fools fall in love?

Beer goggles and desperation.

(1 mark)

Who was that masked man?

Me...when I'm feelin' saucy.

TMI! (0 marks)

Argh! I started to write down the Pantone number! Good thing I didn't put the CMYK value.

Thank you for the vote of confidence, but I seriously doubt I'm too intellectual for anything.

Hi, I'm Mara.

I'm a regular poster on another games board, but there aren't any adventure gamers there.  I found y'all through a google search and I've been lurking for about a month.  I like what I've seen of this community and decided to join.

I haven't been playing any games lately, but reading y'all's posts the last month, has inspired me to get back into gaming.  I have a lot of games piled up waiting to be played.

Welcome Mara and congratulations for breaking your silence. What game are you planning to play first?

I don't know yet.  I was going through my "unplayed" pile last night.  I've played Syberia but haven't played Syberia II yet.  And, I had another game called Post Mortem which looked interesting.

Now you've said hello Mara, don't leave it at that.  Jump into any conversation you fancy.  Just don't expect a thread to stay on topic, that's all.

Good to see you again after all this time Mara. How are you doing and what are the rest of my former fellow forumite friends up to these days?

We're doing fine.  You need to drop by 3D gamers again.  Gaim has left.  Zedd (Raf) is now lead administrator.  We're a little less uptight about posts these days!
They also miss you at AVault.  You're spoken of very fondly there.  You need to drop by there as well.  They will welcome you with open arms.  They still talk about your posts there.  Someone will often ask about you.
rop by and visit your old friends.  They do miss you.

Greetings. I'm Vroomfondel (you might recognize me from the two Space Quest message boards and the AGDI forum where I post frequently). I've been an adventure gamer for just about all my life and I'm currently working on two adventure game projects (one as joint team lead, the other as a writer). I've decided to join after checking out the website and reading a few of the articles. I must say, a very nice site! Looking forward to some good times here on the forums.

Hi Karka and welcome.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!

[font=Fantasy]Dear Gang:

Greetings from Canada!!! I hope this finds you and  yours well. As for me, I could complain...yadda, yadda, yadda.

Upon suggestion of a fellow adventurer, I've to come make a formal introduction of myself before I beetle off to continue the DaVinci Code, which I'm liking a WHOLE TON!!!
I'm a 48 year old lady from Canada who loves strategy and adventure games, writing fan fiction and working crossword puzzles. I love any game that have historical and geographical elements in them.

I'm known as Indy on the Net. Somebody mentioned the game, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, in one of their posts. Well, that's where I got the name from, not to mention have alittle things for Harrison Ford.

I'm a great fan of Stargate SG-1, with my two favourite characters being a certain Colonel Jack O'Neill and his archaeologist/linguist, Dr. Daniel Jackson.  They've both got their charms.

In closing, I've been known to get stuck often but I thank you ever so kindly for having me here. I promise to follow any and all rules. Please feel free to bring me up short if you think I'm blowing something out of the water. I'm now going to back to the DaVinci Code.

Live long and prosper, take care and thank you kindly!!!

                                              Sincerely yours always,

                                               Indy.
"Request permission to take the team through the Stargate!"--Col. Jack O'Neill
