| Deleted User | Congrats, Maciek! Having played the demo I've stopped to look forward to the whole game.
Any word on the EU release?
As for Riddick, I've got it coming via post on PC and will follow up how it works on this thread when I've got it running. High res textures ahoy!
edit - it might be worth noting PC Riddick has extra levels, unlockable concept art and a "directors commentary" which opens up on completion. Then you can play the game through and listen to it by walking over icons to show how the game was made and the thought processes behind it.

Status : Online | I wish I could tell more about EU release, but I don't know much. I was told that EU releases (UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain) were planned early January. Those versions have been already localized.

It's one of those games thats difficult to pin down and is all the better for it.
Is it a FPS?
A Stealth game?
a RPG?
a platformer?
probably a bit of all of them.

Imagine my surprise to stumble across it at my local CompUsa less than an hour ago...and it was the only one left on the shelf.
It looked really lonely, so I had to take it home with me - after paying of course!

Schizm 2 was a nice progression after Schizm 1 (though somewhat different). And now we have Sentinel that just ups the ante. I'm going to head over to CompUSA tomorrow- hope it's in!

I have to agree, except for the "us 1st person pt&clkrs . I don't know why exactly, but the two Schizm made a huge impression on me, ranking way higher than Myst and Riven. I think it's the ingenious difficulty of the first, the gorgeous 3d and simple gameplay of the second...

Well, to hell with tomorrow- I went to CompUSA today & there it was- Sentinel on the shelf! But what was more surprising was that there was only one copy & on the front was engraved: 'Merry Christmas SirDave from Maciek'. Wow!

| Deleted User | Here's me Riddick report -
An excellent genre-bending game, the PC conversion is actually very, very good. Some poor texture choices in places and glitchy seams on the characters are a little annoying, but it's the first time I've played an FPS that takes equal cues from Prince of Persia as it does traditional fare. A wierd mix of styles work together well, and it has a fantastic intro!
It's nice to see it spazzed out in high-res glory on a 22inch monitor too. Highly recommended for the PC adventure gamer with a hankering for an action title this new year. Go get it!
