Loved the Schizm games, (specially 2) and am really looking forward to this one.  Probably won't have time to install and play it until tomarrow though.  :-[

Not too bad. Hopefully the full version will have some more original puzzles than the demo. The lights and sound puzzle seemed a bit too familiar ala Myst.

Graphics were gorgeous. I actually got a slight dose of vertigo at one point!

I'll pass on the voice acting, but I will definitely be picking up this title when it comes out!

Deleted UserSame here, the V/O's aren't great...

But the character models are plain gorgeous and the scenery utterly stunning. No performance drops here, and yes, going from that moody interior to that wide open exterior gave me real vertigo. Stunning use of space. Textures top-notch, sound really quite stunning.

Puzzles appear easy, but it's early in the game from what I've seen here.

Again, well done. The interface is MORE fluid thanks to the 3D arrows pointing out puzzle direction, apart from one scenery hitch the pathfinding is good, the story (despite the V/O's) for a puzzler seems interesting.

And I'm sure peeps like InlandAZ can't wait to see more of Dormeuse.

edit - did I mention it was stunning? LMAO!

"[..]and more than 20 challenging puzzles of varied difficulty."
That doesn't sound too much to me. I'm not sure what that means. But it sounds a LOT like Myst 4 in that sense...
Maybe MJ2 didn't have more than that and I just didn't notice.

By my count, MJ2 had 26 distinct puzzles to solve.  MJ2 puzzles were easy to count because they were so distinct and separate (you solved one and moved on to the next).  There wasn't much interconnectedness to them as in Myst/Riven/Myst4 where counting puzzles would be a matter of conjecture.  But, the non-interconnectedness of MJ2's puzzles certainly didn't detract from the quality of the game IMO.

I am sure Sentinel will be very similar to MJ2 in that regard, which isn't a bad thing.  It seems to work for Detalion quite nicely.

I was quite surprised at how much they included in the demo!  You get to do the entire introduction scene in the tomb and then complete an entire "scenario" (kind of equivalent to an age in Myst vernacular).  The reward from each scene appears to be a crystal that you take back to the tomb and there are spaces for seven crystals!
on't know if this means there are seven distinct scenarios or if you can get more than one crystal from an age.  Could only find five of the "transport" pads so that might be an indication.

Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait a little more to find out.  The demo did it's job quite effectively!  I can't wait to play the rest!

Yes, I can confirm that there are 7 "scenarios", each in its own environment (level, world, location).

Awesome!  Seven different places to explore plus the tomb.  Sounds like quite the adventure.  Congratulation, Maciek!  I can't believe this game is ready almost exactly one year following MJ2.  Go Detalion!  I have enjoyed all three of your previous adventure titles (REAH, Schizm, Chameleon).  I am sure Sentinel won't disappoint! Whoa!  My mom must not have been joking when she told me I had down syndrom...  Detalion made Reah too?!?  I got stuck on a timed puzzle early on and never finished it, now I think I ought to give it another go.  Hmmm, maybe after I pick up and finish sentinal though.
