One of them is a lame step-by-step solution that will make you win the game but understanding zero of the plot. The other walkthrough is an excellent translation of a French article explaining with great detail the plot - except the last page wasn't ever translated! Thankfuly, it only involves answering a series of questions (like in Cruise For A Corpse) that can be easily solved if you understood the plot. Saddly, this version of the article isn't available in the net anymore - but I do have it
Let me know your mail and I'll send it as soon as I can!

| Deleted User | I voted "nay". What do you think you're doing, trying to elevate that lame-excuse-for-a-game to the level of MYST. Your game is ugly. Look at those screenshots: soooo low-res it hurts, and the colors...well, I didn't know they made games in ZGA (Zero color Graphic Art). No wonder there is no walkthrough on the net. But there surely is some pukethrough. I'm sure the story is stupid, and that it involve an island. Right? Yeah, that's what I thought. Maybe in the Hall of crap, one day.

I was lucky enough to snag a Spanish copy of Maupiti Island but I desisted looking for the English edition. The ones that are virtually impossible to find are Mortville Manor and Black Sect. The latter is specially harder to find given its release was limited to 2000 copies(!). It isn't available anywhere even as abandonware (and I looked hard). If it wasn't for a screenshot with English text I saw, I'd say this version simply doesn't exist.
Thankfully, most old Lankhor games (including Maupiti Island) are free to download with their permission, after they shut doors.

I'll try to "get" the TMoAG. Go, my child, go and be enlightened!

Jalex, this game has been long (looong) out of print. What's worse, the few printed English editions are very hard to come by - I think a copy pops up in eBay every now and then for a large sum of money. The game is freely available to download though, with kind permission of their developers. See what I replied to Randdom.
I just checked - 13 people are on a waiting list for Maupiti Island at Gametz. That should give you an idea of its availability!
I'm working on a review/tribute article for it. One day... one day I'll finish all the stuff I'm working on!
