Sneak into the camp (grab a carpet and follow the
slave without him noticing you).
Once in the camp, enter the house located
in the center, talk to three characters, then exit.
Walk around the house
to give Merope the time to come out.
Go back into the house so that Nathos
can give you the pass, then go out again.
Now that you have the pass,
exit the camp via the guarded gate.
Once outside, go to the right and
find the blacksmith and speak to him. At the end of the conversation, Mikis will
show up.
Talk to Mikis. At the end of the conversation, he will leave.
Follow him, and you'll be knocked unconscious.
When you come to, go see
Mikis's lifeless body. A dialogue should appear, then go back into Nathos's house.
Accused
of killing Mikis, you will be arrested.
Once in prison, go speak to your
fellow prisoner. Then go to the basket. Turn your back on the basket to take it
off the hook, cut the rope that binds you with the hook.
Now go to the
hole in the ceiling and climb out onto the roof.
Once on the roof, grab
a stone and throw it at the guard to knock him out.
Free Koppeas (the
other prisoner), then go back into Nathos's house.
Inside the house, take
the soldier's clothes to disguise yourself, then exit the camp via the guarded
gate followed by Koppeas
End: Escape to the Island of Aeolus.
Episode
2: The Temple of Aeolus
Once Koppeas has left, enter the house
to speak with Hakeus.
Drink the potion.
Once Hakeus is dead, take
the diamond sitting on the table and go to the temple.
On your way, pick
up petals under a tree, then go into the temple.
Pass through the columns.
When you get to the banners, offer your petals to the gods. A model will then
appear on the other side of the columns.
Take all of the statues in the
model.
Take the six mosaics marked with the name of a wind that you'll
find on the temple walls to your left and right.
Go to the door with the
jets of vapor and place one of the mosaics marked with the name of a wind at the
base of each jet. There will be a lighting effect when you cover a jet with the
right mosaic.
Once you've placed the six mosaics, stand before the door.
The jets will disappear. Pass through the door and enter the next room.
Place
the statue that leads to the stranger on the pedestal in the middle of the room.
A door will open. Pick the statue up again, then put the statue that leads to
the gods on the same pedestal and exit the temple through the door that has just
opened (hurry up before the door closes again).
End: Heritias flies off
to the Land of the Lotus-Eaters.
The Land of the Lotus-Eaters
The
primary objectives are to get a lotus so that you can question the Lotus-Eaters,
find the Gorgon's head, and cleanse your system of lotus.
To make the
potion, gather lotus seeds in the pond, take a piece of cloth, fill a pot with
sea water. In front of the machine (climb the stairs then turn left, after about
50 meters you should see the machine), place the cloth to the right of the machine,
then the seeds, and between them place the pot of sea water (on the fire). Use
the lever on the left to lower and raise the pot. Face the pot and press the space
bar. Take the empty pot and go to the right to get the potion underneath the cloth.
Drink the potion while moving way from the machine.
Once you've finished
drinking the potion, circle counterclockwise within the city to make Krisis appear.
Run
to catch him while keeping to the right, then speak to him twice about the lotus.
In
the forest, go straight, then follow the owl that will lead you to Athena.
Go
to her to get a shield, then backtrack your steps.
Once again, follow
the owl two times, then turn left underneath the brambles to get to the Gorgon
Palace.
Fighting the Gorgon: Lean your shield against a column or statue.
Lure the Gorgon to the shield by banging on the shield with your sword or, using
a stone, tapping the column against which it is leaning. Stay hidden until the
Gorgon is turned to stone by staring at the shield. Hurry up and decapitate the
Gorgon before she regains consciousness.
Take the Gorgon's head and put
it on the scales, on the higher side. The scales will tip to a level position;
the well will empty. Jump into the empty well.
You will find yourself
standing on the beach before Krisis.
End: Heritias continues on his way.
He passes a beach on which a man gestures for help. This man is Koppeas.
The
Return of Koppeas
The primary objective is to escape from the Island
of the Cyclops by killing them.
Speak with Koppeas, then join him in
his hut after having passed through the forest.
When speaking to him in
the hut, choose the dialogue entitled "Koppeas" to make him drink. The
other dialogue will lead you to Game Over.
Now you must slay the Cyclops.
There are two ways: Either you go through the hut to climb the hill located behind
it and use the Gorgon's head to turn the Cyclops into stone when he looks at you,
or you take the bag to the right of Koppeas and place it on the statue, then take
the lotus seeds and put them in the bag on the statue. Then take the statue and
exit the hut.
Once the Cyclops is dead, speak to Koppeas, then let him
be eaten by another Cyclops.
Take a beam, either to the left or behind
the hut, and head over to the giant crossbow. Be careful that the second Cyclops
doesn't eat you.
Place the beam on the crossbow as well as the rope located
to the left of the bow. Draw the rope and wait for the second Cyclops to look
in your direction, then fire the crossbow to kill him.
Return to the flying
ship.
End: Heritias continues on his way.
The Palace of
Tests
In the first room, observe the trident's cycle before crossing
the room.
In the second room, go to the first statue and listen to its
question. Then position yourself on the picture of Theseus, which is the right
answer. This will disappear, and you can go listen to the second statue's question,
to which the answer is "Hera." The answer to the third statue's question
is "Man."
In the third room, speak to the man in the tent by
choosing the first dialogue. When he transforms, turn him to stone with the Gorgon's
head.
End: Poseidon orders Merope, his right-hand man, to go to Lamos,
home of the Laestrygonians, to prepare a trap for Heritias. Then he finds the
hero at the palace exit. As promised, Poseidon reveals that Ulysses is being held
prisoner by the Laestrygonian man-eaters.
The Laestrygonians
Speak
with the four merchants who address you upon your arrival in the port.
Find
Boros, the merchant dressed in white, has returned to his tent located on the
left. Speak with him after making him come out of his tent and accept his offer
to get you into the Laestrygonian Palace.
Once you are on top, go to the
bridge. Be careful not to let any of the Laestrygonians see you. To cross the
bridge, there are two possibilities: Either hide behind the fence and wait until
the two Laestrygonians have crossed, or wait until they have turned back toward
the palace and follow at a distance.
On the other side of the bridge,
head toward the footbridge on the right so that the Laestrygonian stationed in
front of the palace leave. Enter the palace.
Once inside, follow the corridor.
You'll come to a first sleeping Laestrygonian.
Turn right twice, staying
as close to the wall a you can so as not to knock against any of the weapons (which
will wake the Laestrygonians), and take the plank.
Return to the first
Laestrygonian, and go up to the left just before the corridor. Keep going all
the way to the hole (right after the drop of water) and put the plank over the
hole to make a bridge.
Hide in the crack by the drop of water. Once the
second Laestrygonian has left, cross the hole by walking across the plank, and
go to the Laestrygonian below.
Turn left and head toward the slaves.
Talk
to the slaves and free one.
Once you've been taken prisoner, there are
two ways to escape:
Out the kitchen: Put the ham in front of the door,
go into the next room to get the Laestrygonian's attention, and knock him out
with the ham. Then take the wood basket, go back into the other room, head toward
the hole, then use the wood basket to slide to freedom.
Off the Balcony:
Take the skull with the horns as well as the rope. Attach the rope to the skull,
go to the balcony and throw it all off.
Once you've escaped,
go back to see Boros to get back down to business.
Go to the ladder to
climb up the tower.
Crush the horn, then return to the flying ship.
End:
Heritias has a dream. His wife tells him to go see Circe.
Meeting
Circe
Enter the house and go speak with Circe.
Take the
potion she offers you.
Once you have been turned into a pig, go down the
stairs and then come back up again.
Listen to Merope and Circe talk.
When
Merope leaves, go talk to Circe. Watch out because Merope wants to kill you; that's
why he kills all pigs.
To get to Circe's laboratory, you must go out and
climb to the highest point of the roof (by turning clockwise) so as to find an
open skylight.
Go into the laboratory and gnaw the rope holding a bag
so that the bag falls onto the plank.
Then take the cushion and go down
to where the plank has dropped (between Circe and the bottom of the stairs that
lead to the laboratory). Put the cushion there.
Go back to the laboratory
and gnaw through the other ropes.
Get the flask and give it to Circe.
To reward you, she will change you back to your true appearance, as well as give
you the recipe for libations and a trident.
Go back to the flying ship.
End:
Heritias flies to Hell. Merope is condemned to Tartarus.
Hell
Enter
the cave.
Once in front of the souls, walk down the stairs as far as you
can go. Ignore what the souls say.
Wait for Koppeas to call you.
Speak
with him, give him the precious stone, and follow him.
Go to Charon (the
man standing on the boat) and give him all of your objects except for the trident
and the libation recipe.
On the other side of the River Styx, proceed
as quickly as you can to the Judges' Chambers.
Once you have been judged,
go to the ramp that has descended.
If you have been condemned to the Elysian
Fields or the Asphodel Fields, go directly to the appropriate episode (either
2 or 4).
If you're condemned to Tartarus, your first punishment is to
relive the murder of Mikis from his point of view.
To escape this cycle,
go to the statue and jump into the void. Heritias will now go to where you have
fallen. Quickly push him off the edge. You can now go to episode 3.
End:
Heritias' worth has been judged.
The Elysian Fields
The
flour: Go to the oven and speak to the girl about offerings. She will ask you
to go give bread to the souls near the pond in exchange for flour. Agree to do
it. Take a loaf of bread on the right and give it to any soul you see near the
pond, then come back and get the flour.
The wine: Go to the vineyards
off to the left without letting the minions see you and pick up the goatskin of
wine.
Go to the river, play the flute to summon Charon, and either go
to the Tartarus episode 3 (for other ingredients) or to the Asphodel Fields episode
4 (for the libation).
End: Heritias goes to Tartarus or to the Asphodel
Fields.
Tartarus
Go to Tantalus (the one lying
on the floor) and take the pot of honey, an empty container (for the water) as
well as the empty goatskin (for the blood).
Go to Prometheus (the one
whose intestines are being eaten by an eagle). Take a stone and throw it at the
eagle to make it fly away, then go speak with Prometheus. To thank you, he will
offer you his blood. Fill the empty goatskin with his blood.
Now go see
the Danae (the women filling the barrel of water). While they have their backs
turned, fill your container with water.
Go to the river, play the flute
to summon Charon and either go to the Elysian Fields episode 2 (for other ingredients)
or to the Asphodel Fields episode 4 (for the libation).
End: Heritias
summons Charon with the flute and goes to the Asphodel Fields.
Asphodel
Fields
If you don't have all the ingredients, go to the river,
play the flute to summon Charon, and either go to the Elysian Fields episode 2
(for wine and flour) or to the Tartarus episode 3 (for honey, blood, and water).
If
you have all the ingredients, go to the rock next to the river.
First
put the honey, wine, water and then the flour on the rock. Heritias will now recite
the incantation.
Now put down the blood.
Push the souls away with
the trident.
Wait for Tiresias to appear, talk to him, let him transform
the offering into three crystals.
Take the three crystals and go to the
biggest rock you can find.
Climb it, and find the spot with the three
red marks. You must put the three crystals in the crevices below these three marks
to activate a new crystal on the rock.
Take this new crystal.
End:
Heritias leaves Hell and arrives in a sort of no-man's land.
Final
Combat
Go to the hill.
To fight Zeus, you have the choice
between five different weapons. You must choose three in a specific order to win.
(The order of choice is also the order of use.)
When you use a weapon:
If Poseidon falls to one knee, then you've put the weapon in the right place.
If Poseidon bangs the ground with his trident, it means that it's the right weapon
but that you've put in the wrong place. If Poseidon attacks with his trident pointing
at you, it means that you've chosen the wrong weapon.
End: Heritias is
victorious. Zeus allows him to return to Calypso.
