Part two of the Bionicle: Mysteries of the Metru Nui, adventure game is almost a complete rehash of part one in a different setting. It adds nothing to the story, which is a shame, but my son loved every second of it…which is the time unit adults need to use when playing this game. It can be finished in about ten minutes or so.

As in part one, Bionicle Vakama, plants are attacking the city. These plants, called Morbuzakh, can only be defeated by six Kanoka disks (hence six parts to the chronicle). Whenua goes in search of Tehutti, who has one of the disks.

Unfortunately, Tehutti has disappeared. He goes to Tehutti’s house in the Archives to search for clues to his disappearance.

Tehutti’s House

Click on Tehutti’s vault at the far right. A slider puzzle protects Tehutti’s vault. The correct configuration looks like this:

Inside the vault are documents. One is a picture of the Nu-Jaga, a scorpion-like Rahi. It is accompanied by a letter from Vhisola, a Ga-Metru offering the Rahi in the picture, provided Tehutti has the funds.  Vhisola seemingly wants Tehutti’s Kanoka disk.

Whenua decides to pursue Tehutti in the archives.

Outside the Archives

A guard called Damek stands outside the entrance to the Archives. He tells Whenua that Tehutti was in the Archives yesterday but did not leave through these doors. Damek allows you in to the Archives but refuses to give you the combination for security reasons. The door is opened by the correct configuration of the three levers at right. All three levers must be in the bottom position.

Once in the right confirmation, the levers open the doors.

 Archives

The archives have been vandalized. At the bottom of the screen is a broken tablet. It is solved as another slider puzzle. The solution looks like this:

The picture is of the Rahi. It is accompanied by a message from Tehutti, which reports his suspicion that the Rahi is a fake. This is evidence that Tehutti has been in the Archive. But did anyone see or speak with him?

Whenua travels further into the Archives. There is a tablet on the floor. It has a message to Tehutti. Apparently, the message about the Rahi is a fake. There have been no arrivals of Rahi to the Archives.

Beyond the actual display Rahi in this part of the Archives, there is a picture of a Rahi on the far wall. It has a message on it. The Rahi was found in Po-Metru in the Sculpture Fields. Whenua wonders aloud if Tehutti may have pursued this further in the Receiving Area.

Receiving Area

Outside in the Receiving Area, Nuparu, a Receiving official tells Whenua he saw Tehutti head into the sub-basement with a stranger. Unfortunately, the elevator is out of action.

A cutscene shows Whenua tumbling far down a steep hill into a series of caverns. He finds a crystal, which he digs out of the cave wall.

He stumbles upon Tehutti locked behind fallen artifacts. They must be removed in this order:

Once freed, Tehutti thanks Whenua, telling him of his ordeal with a “four-legged creature”. He entrusts the Kanoka disk to Whenua, fearful of its safety. The Morbuzakh may fear the disk, possibly a way to defeat them… Tehutti wonders how anyone in Ma-Metru would have known about the Rahi. With these knew suspicions voiced, Whenua leaves to meet the other Toa.
