The murder of an underground
hacker in Paris is just the beginning of this extraordinary adventure
for George Stobbart and Nico Collard in the highly anticipated Broken
Sword III. Powerful seismic events are shaking the world. An Ancient
Conspiracy, the Secrets of the Templars, and a fiendish source of
pure Evil are responsible…
From the jungles of the Congo to the deceptive calm of the English
West Country, from underground pyramids in Ethiopia to gothic castles
– time is running out for the Earth and only George and Nico

2/7/2003 THQ is the new publisher for Broken
Sword: The Sleeping Dragon. They plan to have the game ready to release in October,
2003 for the PC, PS2 and the XBox (eliminating the GBA and GameCube).
I have found an interesting Unofficial Broken Sword site located
at http://www.brokensword3.net/.
8/30/2002 Revolution
is planning to unveil lots of new game information about it's next
Broken Sword game at the London ECTS show this week. Maggie
Holt, our newest JA addition, lives in the UK and she is planning
to attend the show. I hope that she has the opportunity to see this
game.

I wish that I could tell
you that Broken Sword 3 is in development. I can't. I wish
that I could tell you that Broken Sword 3 will be in development
soon. I can't. But, I can tell you that the folks at Revolution
say that "it is possible" but they have "no firm
plans."
I suggest that letters
to Revolution might help. Tell them how much you loved Broken
Sword 1 and 2 and beg them to make Broken Sword 3.
You never can tell. It might work.
(02/06/01) I have some
good news and some bad news about Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping
Dragon.
Good news: The game is
definitely in development.
Bad news: At this time,
it is only in development for the X-Box and the PS2. A port
to the PC is not excluded, however.
George and Nico will
still be with us, along with some other new and exciting characters.
As usual, their adventures will take us to different and exciting
parts of the world. Revolution expects the game to be more sophisticated
than Broken Sword 1 and 2.
But we really must convince
Revolution that there are lots of PC and Mac lovers out here in
the real world and that we don't want to have to buy a PS2 or X-Box
just to meet up with George and Nico again.
You may click here
to visit the Broken Sword 3 site, but it has not been activated
quite yet. Soon, I hope!
And finally, thank you
to Jesse Hallmark, one of our JA readers, for this tip.
(04/06/01) Am I excited
or what? Broken Sword 3 will be produced for the PC after
all. Now that's more like it.
