High-class 3D adventure entertainment from Germany: Ankh

Egypt. Long time ago. Young Assil is in trouble: He partied too much - and got cursed. Now players all over the world will have to help him – in Ankh, Rebel Game’s upcoming 3D adventure, fully packed with finest black humor.

All Assil wanted was to enjoy the evening with his friends. He got into the new pyramid build by his father, gave a huge party and - got in serious trouble with the gods. Now he’s cursed and has got to find a way to get rid of this disgrace. In Ankh, the upcoming 3D adventure by Rebel Games, players help as they can: Elements of classic adventures are awaiting them in an exciting 3D world, designed and animated in state-of-the-art graphics. Animated with love to the detail, everywhere are new elements to experience. Flags and trees in the wind and lots of other tiny elements in the beautiful surroundings are everywhere to see. This is just one detail of the exciting graphics of Ankh. Cinematic cutting scenes, designed by experts from the movie industry, are another example. But it’s not just the graphics: Of course, there are tons of exciting and mind-grapping, adventure-style riddles giving Ankh its unique charme and mood. Beginners as well as adventure experts will be fascinated by the emerging story plot. On the other hand, the simple and intuitived designed game play will allow everyone to just start right into the game.

The highlight of Ankh definitely is the unbelievable black humor: Each dialogue between the several characters is fully packed with loads of gags. Of course, Rebel Games strongly attaches great importance on excellent localisation and synchronisation. Well-known pro speakers will be hired to make sure that also the spoken dialogues mean highest quality – Rebel Games will announce names soon.

By the way: Ankh is being developed in Germany – the coders at Deck 13 in Frankfurt/Main show, which excellent game quality can be reached in Germany as well.

The Egypt-set is very famous and timeless and currently accompanied by strong Egyptian-themed musicals and exhibitions, taking place all over the country. And also players virtually want to get back to Egypt – their last Egyptian gaming experience is long time ago“, Dieter Dedeke, managing director of distributor bhv Software, announces. "And Ankh will prove once more, how impressive and internationally competitive games can be developed in Germany”, Dedeke adds.

Rebel Games will publish Ankh internationally. „Without breaking the rules of classic adventures we will add 3D- and action effects, that will make Ankh a new milestone in the adventure genre. Our adventure experience and our ability to implement innovative action elements make us sure to create a fantastic adventure game that will impress players all over the world. In Rebel Games we found the publisher that will make Ankh an international success“, Jan Klose, project manager for Ankh at Deck 13, reports.

Ankh will be released by the end of September in Germany and by the end of October in more territories in Europe and America.
