Reach of the Empire, online since 2002, is set in an alternate timeline within the popular Star Wars universe.

This text-based Internet roleplaying game features a number of familiar worlds and many alien races from which to choose - including an original race, the J'rathi, created specifically for the game.

Reach of the Empire follows a dynamic storyline, driven both by staffers and players. The game also features an interstellar trading system, planetary vehicles and player-owned houses and businesses.

Getting a character is a simple matter of going to the login screen, creating a character with an acceptable name, running through a rapid-fire character generation process, writing a biography to give some depth to your character and then get approved for roleplaying.
